the leadership of Mr. Robinson Abraham, Health Management, Inc. (HMI) was
established in 1983 in direct response to the special needs of an ever-changing
and demanding health care environment. HMI's unique approach today is the
result of the dedication of a multi-disciplinary team of seasoned professionals
with a shared vision that addresses primary needs of health care environments,
higher education communities and commercial enterprises. Current
Board Members include: Mr. Robinson Abraham*, Dr. Joseph Gurubatham*,
Dr. John Karefa-Smart and Dr. William Loveless*.

HMI Home Health is the home care division of Health Management, Inc. This JCAHO-accredited, Medicare, and D.C. certified home care agency provides services ranging from short-term restorative care to ongoing management of chronic illness. HMI Home Health's highly skilled staff of registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational
therapists, social workers, and home health aides provide personalized care to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
HMI provides services through a decentralized structure of divisions and an international office utilizing the talents of over 250 employees. HMI corporate offices are located in the heart of the Washington, D.C. business district.
HMI's health care professionals have worked throughout the United States and in several Asian, African, Middle Eastern, European and Latin American countries, and for many international organizations and U.S. government agencies involved in international health and development. Additionally, HMI's educators have served in executive, administrative and faculty positions.
Utilizing the infrastructure it developed over 20 years, HMI established a spin-off organization - Soltex, Inc. - which provides IT solutions that include: records and document management, imaging/back file conversions, consulting in network security/architecture, eForms and content management.
